The Symposium is held every year at the end of July, in Old Ste-Rose in Laval.
Each year, more than 80 artists, painters or sculptors from Quebec and elsewhere, gather on the boulevard of Old Ste-Rose. It's the occasion of an exhibition by multidisciplinary artists, chosen by an independent jury, who accept to create in front of more than 20,000 visitors.

This annual event is entirely organized by Rose-Art which has been credited in 1999-2000, "Grand Prix du Tourisme québécois de l'Office du tourisme de Laval" in the regional category of "Touristic Manifestation".
